For the brain trust,are there any other brands of lawn mowers beside jacobson that has
the mower in front with rear wheel steering with a steering wheel? Not a big fan of
zero turn mowers but do like the other style.Thanks for your time and knowledge. Neil

I don't know if they are still built but Yazoo mowers were exactly what you are looking for. See if you can find one.

John Deere had front mount mower decks, steering wheel, and rear wheels moved by the steering wheel.

JD still make them if you have good credit. I am mowing with a F-932 (F means front mount) about 1600 hr.

I use a John Deere F725 an old but well made machine. They made several sizes of that type mower. The only ones made now are the larger diesel ones.

Grasshopper also makes zero turns with back wheels like that. My cousin has one and likes it...
