Leaking cylinger on loader

I notice that one of my cylinders on the loader is leaking some. Talk to dealer I got it from and he said to take it off and he will fix them and then said. "Repack them???"
Did not understand what he ment bye that?

Repacking is another term for replacing the seals.

Seals are also called packings.

You might want to ask him to do both cylinders. When I rebuilt one of mine - the other went bad soon after.....

Yes, I will ask for both cylinders to be done. Sound good to me. Also now I know what the term repack cylinders ment. Thank you. Bit wiser I am today. Happy Holidays to All.
