how do you check injectors to see if they are leaking??

There may be other ways but I check mine with a leakdown tester. A rather expensive piece of equipment, you would need to take them to a diesel repair shop if you don't have access to one.

Depends where they are leaking, if external can be spring cap nut gasket, or lapped surface at tip to body location. Nozzle leaks are found on poptester. Some injectors can leak at inlet fitting to body gasket if fitted.
