leaking rear tire

As far as I know the fluid has to be removed then the tube taken out and a patch put on the tube then reassembled and refilled. I am sure some money is involved if a tire shop is doing it. Richard
 
I also should have said if it is chloride in there make sure the rim is cleaned really well, if it isn't already to late. Richard
