leaking utf from brake drum

Finally got my 860 running. Thanks to many of you. Topped off the rear end fluids and noticed some is dripping out of the rear break drum. I am assuming there is a bad oil seal.can anyone confirm that is likely the issue? Thanks.

There is a seal inside the axle trumpet that seals the axle shaft. The bearing is greased so it is not lubed with the rear axle oil. Sounds like your seal needs to be replaced.

hyds, tranny, and diffy are 3 seperate sumps.. have 3 fills and drains.

fill for hyds is under left front of seat.

fill for diffy is behind right / back of seat.

tranny fill is on trans.

drains are intuitive. trans, then hyds, then diffy is last plug.

diffy check is a pipe plug on the back left side kinda near pto shaft.

hyds check is a dipstick near pto lever.

tranny check is a plug on right side a hair above the running board near where your foot rides. don't take any 'bolts' out of there.. only the plug.
