Leaky Hydraulic Couplers.

I'm sure this has been discussed in the past, but I don't remember the outcome. I have leaky hydraulic couplers on my 600B. They leak while there is nothing hooked up to them. Is there any way to stop this without replacing the coupler?

Thanks for the quick reply Tgrasher. I'll look into rebuilding them. Are they hard to dismantle?

I started with cleaning the hyd filter cartridges, and then the sump. It was not until then, that I rebuilt the couplers. Just as a note ,I used grease to hold the eight balls in place on the final o-ring replacement.CM

Easy peasy if you have a parts break down
and don't loose any. The coupler can be
hard to get to turn so use a vice with a
rag to protect it. I had went to a Case
dealer and they priced G119A piston
complete with seal for $125.00. I'm betting
they don't sell very many.

Saeli has all the o rings, and springs . Let me know what you can not find. Look at the parts break down carefully. If you do not have the parts list , I will post it for you.CM
