Leaky throttle shaft

I have a late 70"s Ford Industrial tractor with the diesel engine. Recently, it"s developed a leak at the throttle shaft on the injector pump. Is this considered a user serviceable item, or does it require dealving deeper into the pump than the average Joe should?

If its the CAV Lucas pump, just clean it off, take off the cover, and replace the 2 orings on the shaft. Just be sure to replace the cam in the groove.

It"s a CAV. Below is a link to a post on replacing the "O" rings in a similar pump on a Massive Ferguson.
