Well, that makes at least two of us who've learned something new then.

I don't own a C or an H, but learning something new is always a good thing in my book... :-)

Would it be correct to say the axle is a different diameter and the cast center can't be moved between the C and H or even and H and M?

Three different axle sizes.

However if the C rim trick works on an H wheel, it will also work on an M wheel.

That is an aftermarket wheel, though. Original wheels with the riveted on lugs may not fit like this.

Fun fact, both the H and M came with 36" rubber tires in the early production. The rims were locking ring style, mistakenly referred to as "split" rims by some.
