It is my understanding that AC licensed their engine design to LeRoi, allowing LeRoi to build their own version. Some parts may interchange. This manifold looks exactly like a later version of the AC 201/226/WC/WD/WD45/D17.Ive got a leroi 125 tractair wondering if anyone can tell me what engine it has i think its an allis but not sure on what one, also read some came with international engines
This does appear to be a 6 cylinder block as indicated by tractor data. However the 4x4.25 bore and stroke doesn't yield 226 cu ins.Hello Noah, welcome to YT! According to Tractordata they built their own engines.
Le Roi 125 Tractair on TD
The 4 cylinders that are the power unit are 226, the 4.25” is a typo, I think. Should be 4.50”This does appear to be a 6 cylinder block as indicated by tractor data. However the 4x4.25 bore and stroke doesn't yield 226 cu ins.
I suspect you are correct on the typo. The 4 cylinders that are the power unit are 226, the 4.25” is a typo, I think. Should be 4.50”
The rear two cylinders were the compressor part.

Can you explain why in one picture there appears to be something over the exhaust manifold, and in the other there appears nothing?

It would be interesting to know the stat's on the compressor. Thanks for the reply. yeah those LeRoi 125s were all over the place with engines, a lot did use Allis industrial motors but some had Continental too, from your pics it kinda leans more Continental style with that intake and governor setup, easiest way is to find the block casting numbers or a tag on the engine itself, that’ll tell you way faster than guessing, those old industrial swaps can look similar but parts won’t match if you guess wrong lolIve got a leroi 125 tractair wondering if anyone can tell me what engine it has i think its an allis but not sure on what one, also read some came with international engines
