[size=18:8d11aa32e1]Can someone tell me how or what would cause the lever to be really hard (tight) to raise and lower the 3 pt lift? Book says to adjust the tension by the nut on the end of the arm but that does not work. I have tried PB blaster, ATF, and various other stuff thinking that it may be just gummed up. When I got the tractor about 3 weeks ago it seemed to work fine but did NOT go all the way down in the slot as it should. It does however raise and lift as it should but the lever won't go all the way down.
One thing that I wonder is, is that what is causing this, because I have a heavy (forgive me) John Deere 5ft mower on it with chains to relieve the weight like you are supposed to use. I have not tried it without the chains but this all started when I adjusted the chains a little tighter to keep the height of the front of mower up some.l Could this be the problem?
