I posted a problem yesterday about gasket blowing out under my lift cylinder. (twice)
I am going to take it apart again. I will check cylinder for uneven suffices. can I double gasket?

If you're having problems with gaskets blowing out now - putting on two will only increase the chance for gasket failure.

kind of thought so, but read a post yesterday about the same issue I am having and that was the fix that worked for him?

As others have advised, verify new cylinder is flat & true. May try to "roughen" up the gasket mating surface to give it some tooth. Don't get carried away and un-true the surface.

one thing i dont see mentioned, when you inspect the gasket area use a known straight edge like a carpenters metal square, not a milled piece of wood , wood can lie

I still say get your gaskets from CNH because they are almost twice as thick and made from better material, or if you don't have a CNH dealer around but if you have a Massey dealer close just get the gaskets for a Ferguson TO-20. They are the same gaskets as the Ford.

I bought one line (thin) Then I got one from local dealer (thin)Maybe try on line CNH

Yep do the straight edge check and also look extra careful cracks or nicks etc.
