Looking for ways to cut holes in this center without compromising safety. What pattern has worked for you all and how much weight did you actually save? Thinking about cutting a large circle (8” maybe? Haven’t measured yet) centered on the 6 indented squares… thanks for any feedback

I cut 4 big V's out of your center. Or half. Weighted my 4 V's. 16 lb. And 32 lb. For both. Hooked up really good on the right side. Tractor turned left hard, quickly. Thru me against the fender. Bent the left center into the floor board. And the right center actually spun the the studs part of the center ahead about half a hole. That was at just 6 mph and 300 hp.

I cut holes out in a pair and lost 13 pounds a wheel. Better bet would be to buy a pair of aluminum centers from Franklin degroff to fit your wheels

I've stripped weight from several models of tractors over the years and never figured that was worth the time, trouble, or risk. gm
