Hi folks, I have a Ranger 250 on my company service truck. Recently it has stopped welding. It still makes 110 AC but nothing from the welder leads no matter what the setting is. The truck rides real hard but the welder is solidly mounted. Not easy to get out of the truck but is there something I should try looking into?

Chuck,
check the plug between the chopper and the control board and make sure it has not come loose. It is a twist type plug connection. That might be the problem. The other problem if that is not it, would likely be one of the 2 boards have failed. The boards will run you about $650 US each.
You should take it to an authorized service shop so they can test the boards.
