WHATS THE PROPER WAY TO ADJUST GOVENOR LINKAGE ON A WD45? JUST REBUILT ENGINE AND REPLACED GOVENOR BUSHING AND SEAL AND COMES ON ALL AT ONCE NOT LIKE IT WAS.JUST WANT TO DO IT RIGHT, IT MANUAL IS A LITTLE UNCLEAR.

First make sure there is no binding on the cross shaft, if there is it will never work right Then pull the lever at the steering wheel to the wide open postion, then open carburator wide open, then hook up rod from carb to governor rod there should be a little pressure on the rod pushing the carb in a wide open postion. If it dont bend the governor rod to make this happen, be careful when bending the rod, as to cause it to bind. If adjusted right,it will work perfect.
