Little Planter Build

I have been working on building a little 4 row planter for small plots and cover crop situations and thought I would show what I've got.

It is a Gandy applicator unit that has been mounted on a Blu-Jet section of NH3 bar with 900 Cyclo planter units. The jacks are old auger frame tubes that I repurposed.

The planter is set up on 17" spacing (closest I could get the middle two units).

I made my own control box with a PWM controller that goes into a large switch for switching the seeder off at headlands without losing my PWM setting. Set up for Cat. 1 3pt hitch.

Seems to work good so far. I dont plan on fully restoring the row units with paint but I am hoping to paint the non-red parts red at some point down the road. Hopefully video of it operating at some point.

I have an old row crop planter. Very old. It was supposedly the bees knees for onions. I can't remember the manufacturer. Have to go out and look at it. Bought it at auction, and it came with a ton of metering plates.

You did a fine job.

I remembered.......................it's a Milton!!!!!!!!
