I"m having trouble getting my pump to work on my 1950 A. The on/off switch has very little resistance when moving it. If I try to move it at very low idle (I know not good idea)I can barely feel some vibration I guess from the gears but it doesn"t seem to engage. Took switch cover off and found the pump shifter looks worn but i"m now sure how it should look. Should the crescent be a full half moon or partial as it is? How about the flat spot on the outer diameter? I also don"t understand how this activates the pump...the yoke seems to move the collar but how does that engage the follower gear? Thanks for all the help and advice
