live pump pressure

We have a M with Great Bend 700 loader at our lake property. Started having trouble with the loader several weeks ago - wouldn't lift heavy loads, like it did in the past. Starting tearing it apart this
weekend, and believe I found the problem - blown seal/o-ring on the pressure relief valve.

Called Great Bend (now Bush Hog) and they no longer mfg, said to call Cross who actually made valves. According to the local distributor, they can't order the seal itself, you have to order the whole
pressure relief assembly. So assuming I have to buy the whole unit, I have two options - 500-1500PSI (standard) or 1500-3000 (says optional). I didn't check to see what pump I had, but i think it is
possibly a M&W? it is live pump that sits behind the distributor on the side of the engine.

Any way to tell which pressure relief assembly I should get?

Also from what I can tell, the seal on the pressure relief was tapered or angled - what is the possibility of a regular round o-ring working?

I'm already in the house...

Go back in my post replies about a year. There was a guy that was wanting seals for a Char Lynn torque motor. I gave him the number of a place that has the square profile o rings. If anyone has what you need it will be them. I know they are on the east side of the KC metro area. They are awesome people who have every seal known to man.

If you get one the 500 to 1500 PSI type. Would set at 1000 and see if it lifts like it did. If not raise 50 or 100 at a time and try. If it has a original type cam gear, don't think about going much over a 1000 PSI in my opinion.
