I have a 1973 450B crawler loader. The loader control valve has wear in the poppet valve seat (the poppet valve is part number '10' in the J-D parts catalogue: https://partscatalog.deere.com/jdrc/sidebyside/equipment/17462/referrer/navigation/pgId/269718) which causes the loader arm to settle whenever the loader control valve is engaged, as described at the end of page 70 5-7 of TM-1033.
As both the the valve and the valve body are obsolete, I have asked my local machine shop to repair the valve seat.
Has anyone had any experience with this problem? Since it's described in the tech. manual, I presume that it's a fairly common issue.
