loader for 1650

I am looking to put a loader on my 1650. Does anyone have a preferred model they have had good luck with? And does anyone have one for sale?

I've got a Dunam 22 on my 1600. The brackets fit good, but the loader twists more than I'd like to see. Johnny Hall in Stanton always has a lot of loaders. I checked his Craigslist ads and didn't see one for anything but an 88 right now, but you might want to call him and see for sure what he has for sure. Just search Oliver on Central Mi CL to get his number.

Funny you should ask. I bought this JD 148 for my 1550. I brought it home back in March the day before the gov. ordered our shutdown but just got it mounted today. Looks almost tailor made. It came off a 4020. Didn't need much modification.

OK thanks. I don't want a overly cumbersome thing but I want something heavy duty enough to pick things up with it and move gravel and dirt.

Oops, I thought you were a different Irv B here in Michigan. I guess the whole Stanton thing won't do you any good then. LOL

I've been using a Buhler (Allied) model 595 on my 1655 for a dozen years now. It's made in Canada. Don't know if it's available in your area, but since you're in the general northeast I'll mention it. ( I'm in Vermont.) It's very rugged. I've had several comments that it's heavy enough to put on a 1850. I'm tempted to call it bulletproof on the size tractor we're talking about, 1650/1655. With gravel, your limits would be the hydraulics and front end capacity of the tractor, the loader will handle it. If it's available in your area check it out.
