Loader lift trouble

I've just mounted an IH 2250 loader on my new [to me] 674. My old 484 didn't have loader connections so I ran the loader with a PTO pump. I only see two lines to attach to and I've tried attaching both lines to both lines. I'm getting no lift whatsoever. Checked tranny fluid and brought it to maximum on dipstick. Any ideas where I'm going wrong???

If you are connecting to the remotes you would need to either work the loader with the lever down by your right foot or tie it open then use the valve on the loader or for the loader. IF you want your remotes to work along with the loader. I would suggest you find a power beyond plate to add to your valves stack. there are 2 different valves used on those tractors so you need to know which valve you have before getting a power beyond plate also. The tractor using the tractor hydraulic pump will be a slow working loader you only have a total of 12GPM and 3GPM is prioritized for the steering brakes and transmission lubrication and cooling. Leaving only 9GPM to run the loader. We have a 574 with a 2050Series A loader on it. There is a side mount pump for the right side of the tractor under the right foot rest/step if you can find that set up it would speed you up since it could power just the loader alone. IT would have a filter and lines for the connection. I'm thinking it is more used on the industrial models.
