Loader & mounts for 8830

I am looking for a loader/mounts for an 8830 fwa year 1993. Having no luck finding one. It doesn’t have to be a Ford loader either. Is there place to find which loaders would fit mine!? I’m new to this.

I have a westenforf TA-76 on my 8830.... worst mistake ever.

I'd shop around for a different make and model. Something built better. Also something without the front "hoop" bar that prevent the hoods from sliding open.

TA-76 loader must be removed to check the air filter or clean the radiator/hyd cooler.

The short answer is no, there’s no single place to find which make and model loader will fit. And to make it more complicated, even a loader that will fit will only fit with the correct mounting hardware. Which may or may not even be available. So that means it must be fabricated if not available. It can be a frustrating and time consuming process finding a loader and hardware for some tractors.

Gosh I love my Westendorf loader. Custom Contour number something. Easy on and off.

The weld quality on mine looks like a high school kid did it, the hydraulic cylinders have been re-packed and replaced under warranty and now again out of my pocket (loader isn't that old), among other issues. It is easy on/off I'll give it that.

If it was all I owned maybe I would feel differently. But I also own a Leon, Ford, and NH/Quickee loader. And all 3 of those are at least 2x the quality of the westendorf.

Generally speaking any loader will fit a broad range of tractors. It is just a fabrication job.

Ta-76 bought new in 2015. Been on my 8830 for no more than 700 hours. All 4 cylinders were rebuilt under warranty, 2 replaced under warranty, a 3rd I replaced out of my pocket. All the hoses have been replaced. Welds are garbage full of prosity and undercut many broke and rewelded. Paint is garbage.

I have a Ford 7412 bought new in 1990 that been on the tractor for the majority of its 6700 hours. Cylinders haven't been touched. Half the hoses are original. Paint still shines. Welds haven't been touched.

I have experience with a 7412 Ford loader and would agree with your observation of its reliability. As long as you keep it greased of course.

I can see why you won't recommend a Westendorf. I certainly hope one like that is the exception, not how most of them are now.
