Loader recommendations

I have a 1956 Farmall 400 and would like to get a loader for it. Can anyone help me or point me in the right direction? I am brand new to this. I would like it strong enough to lift 1500 lbs (large round haybales). Is this doable?

There were loaders made for those at the time they werre new. Farmhand is one brand that comes to mind, they were marketed for older Farmalls, H's, M's, etc, too. Not sure about how a new loader would fit, but there is a company called Paulson that makes loaders for older tractors, perhaps they can help.

Westendorf makes a loader for that tractor - several actually. www.loaders.com
