Loader tilt doesnt stay up

Hi, I recently bought a Yanmar 1401d. Run well and loader goes up and down nicely. However the loader's tilt operates (slowly) and will not stay up. I thought it might be the controller but after replacng it did the same thing. Just to play it safe I blew out all the lines and cleaned the filter. Still same! What next?

It sounds like one of your cylinder's internal seals has failed. You can test the theory and figure out which cylinder (if either side fails it will cause both to leak down due to the way they are plumbed) by temporarily installing a shutoff valve on the cylinder.

Or...just take them in to get rebuilt. Any local hydraulic shop can rebuild them.
