Yes, I would "loan" out equipment with a deposit equalling the cost of the machine!
Just joking, I do NOT loan out equipment. Period!!

The equipment i own is what i make my living with, like brendonh said i won't loan it to you but you can hire me to do the job

I tend to get very comfortable with my stuff and mostly take good care of it and plan to keep it for decades. My new pickup is 15 years old, my combine was built in the 1980’s, only 1 of my tractors was built in this century.

So, it’s really difficult to loan out stuff without me there operating it. If it gets damaged or wrecked is one thing, but if it comes back with ‘extra stress and wear’ that really affects my use of the machine for the next long while.
