Well I went to the pull Sunday took my Cockshutt (35), won't tell how i did though but did learn a lot I need bigger tires more weight and some traction (can you buy buy that).

Next to best pull of the day was by a OLD Lady (hey must have been in her seventies at least) 348 ft. on BIG AC can't remember the model but D-21 comes to mind.
Nice to see those young whippersnappers get put down by a little old gramma.
Also ran into Steve from Oregon there.
All in all it was a nice day they mix it all up with old new and hotrod tractors and trucks to make it a lot of fun to watch.
Forgot my camera though so hope Steve took a few pics for us.

I was at the same pull, took my Massey 97 and MM UBE. Didnt do to bad for a couple old stock tractors. The tractor that the grandma was driving was a pretty hot running AC 220 which is usually pretty tough to beat in the 12000lb + classes.

Walt, if you want to be more competetive, you need more than weights. A higher, shorter hitch is a big part of it and then balancing the tractor is key. If you want to pull for fun, then keep it the way it is and do just that.

By the way, id be interested in the tractor if you wanted to part ways with it. Possibly trade for a Moline U wide front, or ZTU????

Let me know/

Have fun
