Is the LockNLube fitting worth the money or is it just hype?

I've had mine for several years now used to grease backhoe & excavator like having another hand when greasing, no longer have to hold hose on zerk it will lock onto fitting until its released allowing you to use both hands on grease gun. I was going purchase a battery powered gun until I got this one. Made in South Africa never seen it sell for less than about $30.00 its worth the $.

Love mine. Only draw back is the length makes it hard to get on one of my mower deck fittings.

Likely case of you pay for quality. I bought a cheaper one that turned out to be a copy (was advertised as Lock and Lube, though). Leaked all over, returned it. There are enough people who swear by them and not at them that I don?t have any doubts the real ones work well.

Yes I have one on my A l e m i t e cordless grease gun. Makes it safer to grease excavator boom cylinder pins while on an extension ladder. In tight spaces it is a big advantage to only need one hand to squeeze the trigger while the gun tip stays locked on the zerk. I do need to periodically rebuild my lock n lube. They do include a rebuild kit when you place an order.

As others have said, they're great but length can be an issue on some fittings. I bought an actual LockNLube from amazon and 1 of there generics for $10 less. I see no difference in the 2, save the money.

Worth it to me but do have problems in limited space. Happy with mine. But I have 5 grease guns with each made for specific accessibility and only 1 has LL fittings.

I love mine, and have 2 guns with them on. High quality part, and they send a package of repair parts too. I became really frustrated greasing my l2 ft disk, with bushings and fittings between ea disk. It stays on the fitting. Some will say they can't do it all, no a buried fitting you can't get at, but how many of those do we really have. I grease the 20 or so zerks on my skidder in half the time it used to take and NO MESS, it doesn't take a roll of paper towels to clean up afterwards. WELL worth it

And I also realized that name difference afterwards. Seller refunded $ - even before i returned it - so I wasn?t out anything but a couple of $ for postage.
