Teflon tape doesn't work.
Loctite 545 is for hydraulic threads.
I'll know in 24 hours if it works.
May let cure longer.
This is original parts.
It has factory yellow paint on it.
Threads look good. These are British threads.
It wasn't a major leak. Just a few drops on the floor.

Have you had success with loctite 545?

If it leaks you have one of 2 things happening. Either the fitting is coming loose or a defective fitting. Might not be enough to see. I have some remote couplers that I can't see a problem with the o-rings and they leak over night. No leak when not connected to equipment.

Nothing is coming loose. It leaks at the threads that connects to the cylinder.
OEM threads are British.
Teflon and pipe doesn't work.
I'm determined to find something that works.

Are you 100% positive there isn't a crack?

100%
I wish I had a tap. I have no idea the size of the British tap I
would need. Look at the pic. I only get about 4 threads and then
the fitting bottoms out..
If anything, the threads on the cylinder need cleaned up.
Factory cylinders are no longer available..Factory closed..

A bottle of 545 is cheaper than a new aftermarket cylinder.
