Long 360 block heater

I have a 70"s Long 360 and want to install a block heater . I purchased a Katzs block heater that say"s it"s for a Long 360 part# 764161. Where do you install it, I thought it was the plug on the left side of the engine but the hole is to small. This block heater is 36mm.

It goes in the water pump housing. Can be accessed from the right front.
