Long 610 - Air Filter

Air filter assembly, removed, bottom view. I've got the cup and the lower filter element removed. I'd like to take it apart and pressure wash the whole thing. How can I clean this upper element? Diesel/pressure wash? The inside of the center tube is cake with dirt/dust

Don't know anything about the Longs. On the Fords, oil bath cleaners, the wire mesh media would get coated, and plugged with a dirt oil mix. We would soak it with solvent, or diesel for a bit, then set it on fire, with a torch. The trick is, to not get it too hot, and destroy the mesh. After it burns the oil out, the dirt will usually fall out, when you tap on the housing. Sometimes takes several treatments.
