Long 960 Harrow

I recently acquired a set of Long 960 harrows ($650) with the 4x4 tubing frame. The frame, 3pt hitch hangers, some axles and bearings all in good shape. I've been working through them... The axles all seen to be 41" front and back but the front disc (5) are spaced around 9" and the rear (6) disc are around 7" spacing .
They came off a farm just wondering is this common or a product of visiting the parts pile on a rebuild.
All the half spools were a hogpile of crap pieced together it seems..

Someone probably used what they had to piece it together .looks like you need one bearing and maybe rebuild the one hanger

Yeah that was kinda my thinking... I've done went through the bearings replaced 5 of the 8, all the hangers were fine.. those new disc aren't cheap.

I'm getting ready to start prep for paint, I've got access to free Caterpillar yellow and black..

Maybe yellow frame, black 3pt hitch and hangers..
Sound like a good color combo?

Agri supply, they're 20 inch 5mm Brazil blades..
The better half said the harrow fund was out of money after that purchase..... Looks like I'm going to have to get creative now.. lol

I think they came out fairly well, I'm happy with them...
Huge change from what I picked up.

Sunk the bottom the plows in today.. let's hope it doesn't rain any significant amount in the next day or two...
Going to harrow it lightly tomorrow and smooth it off for planting
