Long finish mower 1760

I have this old Long finish mower with a bad spindle. I have searched for a replacement, but have come up empty. Any ideas of where/ how to look? TIA

Wild idea. Can you in any way use a spindle from another brand. Might have to use spacers to get correct height/belt alignment. Or maybe replace all spindles with new. More than likely somebody made the mower for long. Just have to figure out who.

Some of these were rebranded machines made in Italy by Caroni, you might look at there parts, they are readily available by many suppliers. Just Google Caroni mower parts, hope this helps.
