From the local weather station it looks like this mess is heading your way, Hopefully you will just get some much needed rain.

So far saw a bit of lightening at 2:00am, bit of rumble in the distance, and a tad bit of rain. Storms since last July have seemed to part when they get near the Minnesota River valley, and head to other regions. Don't have my gauge out yet, they talk of snow flurries in the next 2 days.... But got a little rain, not too much.

More forcase during the week. This shoul help the oats and pasture.

Sounds like Kansas into Iowa got it bad, hope everyone is ok.

We had a tornado pass by about a mile south of our house. We don't have any damage but some neighbors have some torn up trees and roof damage. Here's a link with a video of the storm. We never saw it because we were in the cellar.

Whew, small but powerful cells are breaking out just north of me , moving away from me, hopefully not getting anyone else. The 'Cities TV is talking about it they think a few touchdowns by what their radar shows but no live reports, the local to me TV station is pretty small and doesn't have a weekend crew on right now. Looks like stuff is forming up south of me as well, but on either side of me, so should be ok. But keeping an eye out... Nothing like Kansas had, these seem to be small cells tho strong.

Got another shot of rain, looks like adds up to an inch so far, _much_ needed. Not the storms tho.

We were supposed to be Sunny and near eighty degress this afternoon. The sun finally came out around 6pm, but this wind is brutal, it won't take long to get rid of this half inch of rain we picked up since Thursday. At any rate Paul, you keep an eye to the sky...
