looked at a backhoe today

Stopped by and looked at a Case 580 super L today. It has 5100 hours, 50% rubber on front 20% on rear. Starts and runs well, Boom pivot shows almost no slop missing one tooth on the 24" bucket. Cab is near perfect w/ heat & a/c. It is a 2000 year.

He wants $18,000 for the machine.

Looks like a decent deal to me. Comments?

Its hard to tell from here. You could be best served by taking someone who knows what they are looking at. Paying someone to inspect it, could be cost effective in the long run! I should have done that when I bought.
