Looking at a compact tractor

Trying to decode this data plate for year and info also to make sure this is what I believe to be a 1910U model tractor ?
I can pick it up for $1200 needs a front tire and a few hises for the FEL otherwise im being told it runs. Are parts easily found also?

Parts are not as easy as the much older Fords and they cost a bit more. Do some checking around . I have used a 1710 and that is quite a handy little tractor.. I assume 1910 are closely related.

AP3136 is a 1910 with a diesel engine, live PTO and a 12x4 synchro transmission.

Unit Number 5K14B says it was assembled on October 14, 1985 during the day shift.

Thank you !! That helps me a lot. I am going to search around for parts , mainly front axle as it's a 4x4 model. I do need the lower links and the adjustable arms to the top lift arms

injector pumps and hydraulic pumps are made out of Unobtainium so there are many of these orphans around here. So like the sos tractors, I shy away from them. The Japanese seem to have a design where every product has a 5 year life cycle and then is recycled. And the parts supply is based on that. SO it seems an otherwise great batch of tractors is left with no factory parts and no aftermarket parts... just the thinking around this part of the woods.

Correct , this one wasn't running ( it would fire on gas rag ) upon further inspection it turned out something had broke inside IP as it would not allow fuel to pass through at all despite a few crude attempts to service the IP so I looked it up best i could and nothing could be found as a rebuild or replacment , so I shook the guys hand sand thanks for letting me try and walked away.

I don't have that size tractor but either YT has the Ford parts I have needed over the years or ebay. Ebay is very specific in your parts description. You can misquote a part by one word and not find anything......get the noun right and you have pages.

those shibaura fords are a cruel mistress---picked up a 1600 myself not too long ago-- i currently realize that i maybe shoulda had let it stayed booried in its undisturbed field grave

i was waxing poetry inside my noodle and i got to the notion perhaps its better to spend twice that on a iddy kubota if you have to- or another yanmar-- because parts are there if you need em moreso...

I have a 1510 and a 1620 hydro that both purr like kittens BUT agree with above. They are probably on borrowed time. When they fail they will go into the salvage pool.

Injector pumps are built by ishikawajimaharima... they built stuff for lots of different clients. Just take the pump off and send it to a fuel shop and they will handle it.

Yanmar was the first foreign mfgr'd. small tractor for sale here in N. Tx back in the 60-70 era. Nothing else of that category for decades. They have stood the test of time and their engines are in a lot of mfgrs. machines......happen to have one in my LS.

A while back i went to Farmland tractor in Tangent, Oregon and drove thru the lot. They had one section with alot of Shibaura tractors. See my video at 1:35 for the Jap tractors they have. I'm sure they ship parts to where ever you are. There phone number is 541-928-1646
