Some years back, I seem to remember someone called Sarge that helped a lot of people with dealing with VA claims. If anyone can help me contact him, I would appreciate it.
Are you a member of the VFW?? I became a member and just a few month later got help with my V.A. claimsSome years back, I seem to remember someone called Sarge that helped a lot of people with dealing with VA claims. If anyone can help me contact him, I would appreciate it.
First let me say thank you for your service! Looking at the profile of the YT member “Sarge” it shows 18 posts by him. Since they are from 2004 and before they apparently were not brought over into the new software archive or they were in Tractor Tales which I don’t think are archived. Did you previously have a different user name? If not you would not have seen any of his posts as current discussions because he was only a member up until 2004 and you didn’t join until 2024. Coming back to his post number of 18, it seems unlikely he had much discussion with anyone about VA benefits unless he made lengthy replies that covered the topic and that was it. I am not saying it isn’t possible, just saying it seems unlikely. Attempting to contact him through a Private (Direct) message is a futile effort since his profile shows him as “last seen” as 2004. This means he hasn’t signed into the new software that was initiated on Dec. 28, 2023, he would have no way of receiving the message. Although he may have been viewing the forums since 2004 without logging in, again unlikely. I would say you are possibly remembering the wrong username.it's been quite a while since he was here, you might send him a private message and he respond to you

For this forum in my opinion this is a “Tractor Tales” topic. I would suggest placing a thread there and explaining the issue to see if current active members can be of help to you.
Secondly, there are actually forums that deal with this topic which I would think that would be a better resource. I do understand that you may feel more connected and would be more likely to trust members on here.

But I do have around 2 million miles on my driving record. Drove when we where in Scotland since I was the only person on the sub I was on who had a military lience SPGood to know you got it done. The only thing I am missing is dental. Was approved for travel for 10 years before I knew it.
A lot of missed trips. But no complaints, getting good care.
Haven't forgotten you there "old", been a while. Never got out to Missouri to look you up. Take care.
I can’t speak for other states, but Texas has County Veteran Service Officers. The one in our county has an office in our county court house. He submitted everything needed to get the ball rolling. All he asked of me was a copy of my DD214. It was on file in the county clerk’s office, so it was easily accessible.
Our VSO here says all they know is get a lawyer, won't even talk about it. I think that is just our county, never have gotten anywhere with them.I can’t speak for other states, but Texas has County Veteran Service Officers.
