Looking for upper Sos cable

Anyone have the shorter one or any leads?

Or the longer conduit?

I bought a replacement cable and it s the longer one. I ll trade too if anyone wants ha

Aren t there two lengths for the upper? I have two of them and one is definitely longer than the other one, unless im not putting it in the shifter correctly

You didn't say what model tractor you have. Later tractors have a single long piece coming from the shifter
and a short stubby one, like about 6 inches or so, going into the trans.

My apologies. It s a 1964 4 cylinder 4140 hd industrial with a red transmission. I bought a shifter for it (didn t come with one) and a cable came with the shifter. The end of that cable was damaged, and I had another cable I had purchased. When I compared the upper selector cables, the one I purchased is longer than the one that came with the shifter. I am now confused which is the correct length. I am wondering if the shorter one is for the 2000.

I have the lower cable, it seems like it is correct and is in good shape

Yes, the shorter cable is for a 601/2000.
The difference in length is needed because
the tin work is mounted lower on the
smaller model tractors than the larger
model tractors. Hope you are successful in
finding the longer cable.

How long should the conduit be? I know it s a precise measurement, but it seems like people don t know there are two lengths. I tried searching for measurements but I can t come up with solid numbers

I Measured it at 14 and 1/4. I took the time to take a piece of soft copper and bent it to match, then straightened it to measure.
