Lost wrenches

[Bob]

There was a post a few days back about lost wrenches.

It seems the mystery of what happens to them has been solved...

WoW what an artist. Old wrenches must be in short supply is Australia as he has them all.

Ok the cheesecake figure, as my grandfather would have called it he was a highly talented artist that did similar work at times, the one about 2 or 3 images down, he certainly captured the anatomical beauty of a woman, that is some impressive work, but on the flip side, how many tool boxes have been emptied, .... I hope they're all low grade tools, can you imagine taking your snap on/blue point craftsman, proto or how many others and doing that with them..... perish the thought ! LOL!

Yea, I thought the same thing myself. Those wrenches must have been for some very large bolts.

If only I could know that all the 9/16 and 1/2's that have disappeared over the last 67 years ended up in something like that, I could rest in peace. My Dad was very particular with tools, and I am the same way. Nothing else ever comes up missing though, just the 9/16 and 1/2. I have bought dozens of them at garage sales or anywhere else I find them, but right now there is only one open end in my tool box. The box ends don't disappear, just the open ends. I can't understand how they could have ended up way down under though, unless he has some kinfolks living somewhere around here(south central Texas) and sending them to him. One of the mysteries of life I guess!!

Notice.....Most every one is rusty. My guess would not be real high quality wrenches. What ya think.

In Minnesota along 35 in the Webster area there is a horse and rider made from horse shoes.

To make thing like in those pictures has to take some talent and time.

[redtom]

not bad mouthing or nothing, but did you notice they all seem to be the same size? None plated? I wonder if they're just blanks or cull stampings. Still looks cool!

I could probably do the same if all the screwdrivers I "planted" over the years were to sprout. Dad would say 'if those screwdrivers ever sprout, we'll need to change everything over to steel wheels.'
That fellow certainly has talent!
