LP pistons

Anyone here running LP pistons in their gas engines? Trying to decide if I want to look for a Power Block or put in a set of propane pistons . I'm talking about my John Deere 70.

How about LP pistons in a power block ?
Consider grinding the cam and do some head/manifold work at the same time .
No problem making more power than an 80.

LP is Only 7.3 to 1 . Have to wonder why anyone sells or uses 6.15 to 1 gasoline compression ratio pistons .

LP pistons in an all fuel tractor with kerosene or diesel in the tank would be a noisy mistake .

Where did you read kerosene or diesel was in the fuel tank. mdross stated GAS!

I have a late B that I put a set of lp pistons for a 50 in. It woke it right up. Compression ratio is about 7 to 1 and I run 87 octain ethanol gas with no problems.

Actually it is our 31st wedding anniversary on the 9th . Perhaps a new matching dryer for the washing machine ?
