LS Tractors

My brother recently bought one of those LS tractors with a cab so he can plow his driveway without freezing to death. He nearly died 2 winters ago from pneumonia after using his Massey Ferguson with no cab. My question is are those LS tractors any good?

no idea what an LS tractor is. hard to tell with just 2 letters. gotta dress for the weather. i got no cab and feed cows all winter and plow snow. be tomorrows job at -04 f. yummy.

Got a ls dealer 5 miles from me in Thompson. Been in business for year s . I don’t have and ls but I do trade with this dealer . Can’t Stay in business today without good product and services . My nephew bought an industrial ls backhoe for his construction business .

Use the internet, that way you can find out things you don’t know! :ROFLMAO:This is what an LS tractor is!
Ya I know you’re on the internet steady looking everything up. I don’t know why I would look stuff up to post it here for someone to read. They could look it up themselves also u know. I sure don’t know what joy u get always jabbing me. You’re not the yt policeman are you ?? I didn’t think so. 🤣

There is a dealer nearby that lets us demonstrate a tractor at Junkshow. We’ve had the typical 30 to 50 horse models and from what we’ve seen they are as good and as comfortable for drivability and operator layout as any of the main line builders we demo. Definitely above the level of a Bobcat, Cub Cadet or other sub-compact.
In this area there are a handful of dealers within an hour that offer LS as main line or second line tractor so it seems that the support is there. I would consider an LS before Summit or Bad Boy on dealer support alone.

Been around a long time. Made in S Korea. Have a good reputation around here. I've seen some good sized ones I would guess to be in the 70-80 HP range.

I myself can't wrap my mind around buying tractor with foreign engines in them. Nobody around here seems to have very good results with some of them. I'll keep my easy to work on models.

I have three friends with LS units from 25 to 40 hp and 250 to 400 hours. No problems with them to speak of. Couple of loose bolts but thats about all.

Has not been a tractor under a 100 HP about, that is made in the States since about the 70's or 80's. Doesn't matter what color you buy.
It appears from researching Tractordata.com that some JD tractors are built in the USA My neighbor owned a LS tractor with cab & FEL for several years with no major problems.

Thanks, I was more asking about if there were any being manufactured, rather than build/assembled with domestic and foreign parts. Are the tractors you mention fully manufactured in the USA?

I see now it says manufactured, but JD builds much of their stuff outside of the us so maybe one would need to dig deeper than just the specs they have in whats here. IDK
