M carb ???

[M clunker]

I have a carb that"s leaks gas like the float is stuck open .I rebuilt carb still no luck ,adjusted float no luck ...What am I missing ?

Two or three things might be at work.
The seat and needle might be at a slight angle and not sealing.
The seat could be leaking where it attaches to the carb body, or the body cracked at the seat threads.
The float can be rubbing against the bowl and holding the needle open.
The float can be filling with gasoline and sinking.
