Has anyone ever replaced the whole setup with a different base and everything I am elderly and find it hard to get on
Take a look at the aftermarket seats for ZTR mowers.Has anyone ever replaced the whole setup with a different base and everything I am elderly and find it hard to get on
Not on a Farmall M, but I did that on a Case VAC. I welded a base togeher that mounted into the holes where the original seat bolted on the top of the transmission/final drive and then attached an aftermarket mower seat on the base I built.Has anyone ever replaced the whole setup with a different base and everything I am elderly and find it hard to get on
Universal mount suspension seats are available from many places. Amazon for one.Seems like everyone missed the question.
There is nothing made specifically for the M Farmall to replace the seat with something more accessible.
Find a seat and suspension out of an old truck. You will also need a flat plate to provide a place for the seat to mount farther back so you can get your leg between the seat and the shifter.
As I stated, nothing specifically for a Farmall M.Universal mount suspension seats are available from many places. Amazon for one.
*****the whole setup with a different base and everything *******
Northern tool has a selection of exactly what you are looking for, brand new no scrounging through junkyards. They may be more than what you want to pay.Has anyone ever replaced the whole setup with a different base and everything I am elderly and find it hard to get on
Without ROPS the seat belt might be more dangerous than nothing. JimI hadn't thought of it before, but you gave me an idea that I want to try on my H with a loader.
I just ordered the attached from Amazon for $114. The armrests and seat belt would make a guy more secure than the plain old pan seat.
Stay tuned.
If you have the old Monroe seat, I would keep it.Has anyone ever replaced the whole setup with a different base and everything I am elderly and find it hard to get on
