how can you stroke M farmall, must be at or under 350 cubic inches, what about bore , looking for good combo to pull with , looks like torque is the result of longer stroke

Torque is a result of increased cylinder pressure, larger surface to push on, longer lever to push on, or all of the above.

Under 350 cubes?? Try 450 or better!

Looks like you have done absolutely no homework. Try doing a search in the archives for a farmall m engine. Along with many ideas you should find the phone numbers and contact info for some good farmall engine builders.

rules here are 350 and under, so cant go with 450 , also only allowed to run 2800 rpms, but thanks for your help anyways

Sorry, didn't understand what you were asking.

4.125" X 6.5" gives you 347 cubes.

4" X 6.75" gives you 339 cubes. Factory M overbore size. Drop in liners.

4" X 7" is 352 cubes.

How do they check engine size?

Doesn't seem fair that some stock factory tractors (John deere G, mini GB comes to mind) would not be allowed to pull.

Went to a pull once, scale did not work, mentioned the honor system the only takers where the modified antiques. The stock boys said they'd wait for a replacement.
