M governor update

governor weights have oblong holes where the pin
goes through(flip flop flip flop). and the bearing at front of housing
has lots of play (wiggle wiggle).
Is there a place to get new parts or am i left with used parts?

This site probably sells rebuild gov. and I know nnalert has them. As far as just parts for them maybe Case/IH will have those

CIH had those parts for my Super H but at a high price. The weights were $70 each last winter. I found a govener with good used ones.

You would be better buying a used Gov. than the parts. As I stated previously, that is sort of like mine was but got so far worn they were hitting the case. Last I checked Mike Brunk at Steel Wheel Ranch had used ones from $100 down to $50. The 100 dollar one I got from him was like new. Henry
