M.H 1954 spl. W/loader

I came across a fellow selling a 1954 44 special with a loader. He doesn't know last time it was ran or anything. I'm unsure of what it's worth. It is a gas. I have a feeling it will need rubber all the way around and hopefully rims are okay. Tin looks relatively straight and the exhaust has had a flapper on it. He doesn't know if the motor is free or anything. I'm going to look at it Saturday 3/7/20. Figure I'll take the trailer with me. It's an 1-/ hr drive one way which isn't to far from home but he wants it gone.

Serial number I think shows it a 1955. Good and straight looking tractor, except
for the steering wheel. It looks to have sat for a number of years by how far it's
sank into the ground.....don't expect the tires to be any good. If it's not seized,
maybe 500 or 600 dollars.

Thanks I ran the serial number and it comes back as a 54. 55 started at 58067. This tractor is 56988.

Well I brought it home. Couldn't
pass up the price. Motor is
seized. It has a Continental H277
in it and I can't find pistons for
it so I guess I'll try saving the
pistons. Does anyone have a good
place to go for engine parts for
it?
