M670 carbertatour

Got a m670 super rebuilt the carb it runs good but doesn't like to start off under a load starts to sputter and die. Have adjusted the load screw so it runs rough then turned in a touch kind of at a loss what to look for

You didn't state why it was parked for a long time. Was it parked due to some other issue? Will it idle up and run at full RPM's? Is the governor working freely? Dirt dobbers in intake of exhaust? When you say "under load", like pulling something or just normally taking off without anything?

Had no use for it it'll idle up to full rpm. Underload as in taking off in fourth gear low range

4th gear low range is slightly lower than first high. I would go a to others side and check/change points and cond. Quite easily to be fooled by ignition.

Echlin? Been hearing many of new condensers no good. Next step I would grab another carb off a U or ? to verify.

Just to add, I'm not sure if the load screw is the same on them as it is on a U but..... maybe the load screw didn't get bottomed out correctly. On the U they are a pain to get seated. It will screw in just fine but will go right beside where they are supposed to at the bottom. Might be worth a check.

It's seated. If I unscrew it and pull it out it'll kill the tractor

Sucking air around intake? Air cleaner unhooked? If none of above seat my be done. Not common. Think have a carb here. 625?
