Is there a way to eliminate the throttle "lag" on and M670 Super? The governor was "rebuilt" but the throttle lag still remains. From what I can tell, it mostly occurs from the double joint linkage. When you move the throttle lever there is about 1 1/2 to 2 inches of travel before the engine responds. I have followed the book for adjusting but then it idles to fast and wont idle down far enough.
Were they this way when new? I would think they would be better than that from the factory.
