Got home last evening.
Was a relatively uneventful trip. I borrowed that trailer from work and it is heavy. I'm guessing it weighs 12,000 empty. So the Ford was fully loaded both ways. Gross weight out was 33,000 and back was 31,400, so the v10 had a hard time. Plus that combine catches a lot of wind. I was hoping the home trip would be better since I would be lighter and it's all down hill, but the combine caught the wind so bad that it pulled harder. So it was 1600+ miles with the throttle firmly on the floor. Burned a LOT of gas. Lol. Did have one small issue, on the way home she developed a miss and I had to stop and fix that. Orielys put their scanner on it and found the miss on number four cylinder and this is what I found.
Guess 15 years and 156,000 miles is too much for the original spark plugs. Put a new one in and she ran great the rest of the way.
I am anxious to get it unloaded and ready for oats in a week or so. Hot here today tho, and getting some rain now so unloading will wait a bit.
