Magical fix?

Anybody have a magical fix for making a hydraulic jack quit leaking from this point? Harbor freight Jack not too interested in trying to find parts for it. Probably better off just buying a new Jack. I’ve tried power steering fluid with Stop leak in it but that didn’t work.

Once the O ring is replaced flush the jack and change the fluid as well . It's surprising just how much grit finds its way into the reservoir.

I just bought an air jack with three bags. Used it once and if it lasts I will never use a small hyd jack again. they are more tippy but that makes you use a jack stand or blocks which you should anyway. Lifts in a few seconds instead of minutes as well. Price was the same or cheaper than hyd.

Complete rebuild kits are available for your jack. They come with a new needle and all.

Looks as if someone just kept trying to tighten the needle tighter to get it to stop leaking instead of replacing the O ring. Hope the seat has not been damaged for if it has the jack is worthless.
