The original subject was "Mahindra 485 DI".
Can't find a manual on my recently acquired 485DI, and I need to check the transmission lubricant as well as differential, etc. It has so many possible locations with nuts, studs, etc. that I'm reluctant to try them all and possibly open a can of worms instead of a fluid level port.
I regularly check the power steering, the hydraulic reservoir, water, oil, and such, but I really feel I need to check the transmission and differential on a tractor with low hours but many, many years.
If you can help Pat, you can probably help me.
