Mahindra Alt. Charging problem,

I have a Mahindra 2003 model E-350 DI Tractor W/200Hrs on it has been sitting in Enclosed garage for most of Winter not started, had Solar charger on batter Started up just fine as always, BUT Alternator light is ON an doesn"t go out QUESTION:: does these Alternators have a built in regulator or separately mounted.... Tractor operated fine, Just had to jump it off Today!!after plowing garden,, anyone Experienced in this Line of Expertise, Thanks !!Larry KF4LKU

my '02 Mahindra 6000 has built in reg...i dont know if yours has same alternator.
check Bill's tractor in san antonio...they got a online parts look up
